Job summary

Honour Early Learning in Camp Hill is launching a brand-new childcare centre and is seeking an experienced Lead Educator to help build out and deliver programs across age groups at Brisbane's newest, highest quality service.

You will foster a safe, inclusive learning environment, build strong relationships with children, families and staff, and observe progress to develop personalised learning plans. The role emphasizes compliance, collaboration, and continuous program improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and 3+ years lead educator experience.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates.
• Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
• Strong understanding of EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Observe and document children's progress with individualized learning plans.
• Collaborate with colleagues to continually improve educational programs.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Assist with open and close procedures as required.
• Assist with continuous improvement of the rooms and centre.
• Engage with Centre Management on activities and initiatives.
