Job summary

Kidz Magic Early Learning Centre in Heathwood, QLD, is seeking a dedicated Lead Educator to guide educational programs and supervise daily activities. You will build strong relationships with children and families, contribute to EYLF-aligned planning, and uphold safety and inclusion standards within our Code of Conduct.

Join a supportive team dedicated to high-quality early learning. Applicants should have a Diploma in Children's Services or be working toward it, plus Blue Card and first-aid

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children's Services or working towards it.
• Blue Card (Working with Children Check) required.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.
• Child Protection training/certificate must be held.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Genuine passion for safeguarding children's wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Contribute to planning and implementing high-quality educational programs aligned to EYLF and NQS.
• Supervise the daily activities of children.
• Promote safe, inclusive and engaging practices upholding children's rights and dignity.
• Collaborate within a supportive team and maintain professionalism per Code of Conduct.
• Be available to work 5 days, with hours rostered within operating hours.
