Job summary

Uniting Church in Australia, Queensland Forest Lake is seeking a Permanent Part-Time Lead Educator to join our welcoming community. You will lead play-based learning, mentor staff and ensure high-quality early childhood education for children at the Forest Lake centre.

We offer above-award pay for the right candidate, paid parental leave, ongoing professional development and a supportive team culture. The role requires Diploma in ECEC or equivalent, 1+ year lead experience and Blue Card.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience as Lead Educator.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, QKLG and NQF.
• Ability to document and assess children’s learning.
• Strong communication, collaboration and leadership skills.
• Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications.
• Passion for joyful and meaningful learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging, play-based learning programs aligned with EYLF and QKLG.
• Create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.

About You
