Job summary

Busy Bees Lara is seeking a Lead Educator to join our team on a fixed-term, 6‑month basis. You will lead the daily learning program within your room and support educators, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children to thrive.

You’ll bring a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent), current First Aid/CPR, VIC WWCC, and experience leading a room. You’ll align with EYLF/NQS and collaborate with families and the community.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-equivalent required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications; WWCC VIC.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS; leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of a high-quality educational program aligned with the EYLF.
• Inspire and mentor Educators within your room.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with families and the local community.
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and centre policies.

We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to join our team at Busy Bees at Lara, on a fixed-term, 6 month basis. You will play a key role leading the daily learning program within your room, supporting educators, and creating a safe and engaging learning environment where children thrive.

What you’ll do

• Lead the planning and implementation of a high-quality educational program aligned with the EYLF
• Inspire and mentor Educators within your room

What you’ll bring

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
• Current - Working with Children Check for VIC
• Demonstrated experience leading a room within an early learning environment
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• A collaborative and supportive leadership style
