Job summary

C&K North Caloundra Community Child Care Centre is seeking a Lead Educator to join our long-established service in North Caloundra, QLD. This full-time, permanent role focuses on guiding children's learning, collaborating with families, and delivering high-quality education within a caring community.

You will work with a collaborative team in a not-for-profit organisation that values safe, inclusive spaces and meaningful outcomes for children and families.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQF.
• Enrolled or willing to study Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care.
• Completed National Child Safety Training – Foundation and Advanced Certificates (Courses 1–5).
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma/Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• A Police Check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Lead educator and take ownership of the learning environment.
• Develop and deliver high-quality programs aligned with EYLF and NQF.
• Engage with families and the local community to support children's learning.
• Provide safe, supportive, and inclusive care and education.

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you'll have:

• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF).
• Hold, or a willingness to commence studying, a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Completed National Child Safety Training – Foundation and Advanced Certificates (Courses 1 to 5)
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• A Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
