Job summary

C&K Association North Caloundra is seeking an Apprentice Educator to join a caring, community-focused team. You will work with children in a safe, supportive play-based setting and collaborate with families to promote development.

Wage rates range with study, with subsidised training and opportunities through C&K College, plus generous childcare discounts and scholarships as part of the Benefits Program.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is required or in progress.
• National Child Safety Training – Foundation Certificate completed.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma/Anaphylaxis certification.
• Blue Card or exemption; Police Check current within 3 months or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support and guide children in a safe, nurturing play-based learning environment.
• Collaborate with your team and families to promote children’s safety and development.
• Participate in ongoing learning and training opportunities offered by C&K College.

• Hold, or a willingness to commence studying, a certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training – Foundation Certificate
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
