Job summary

Rise & Shine Kindergarten, Warner Centre in Warner QLD is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to lead the design and delivery of the educational program. You will mentor educators, ensure documentation, and keep families informed of progress and milestones.

The role requires a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education and at least one year of experience, with a strong understanding of the EYLF, NQF and NQS standards, and a passion for play-based learning.

Qualifications

• Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education required.
• At least one year of work experience as an Early Childhood Teacher.
• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standard (NQS) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Ability to plan, program, observe and document children's learning.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and evaluate inclusive, play-based learning programs.
• Create and maintain a safe, nurturing learning environment.
• Observe, assess and document children's progress to inform planning.
• Promote language and literacy development through stories, role play, songs and activities.
• Ensure compliance with NQF, NQS and EYLF in daily practice.
• Lead and mentor educators to maintain high teaching standards.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Communicate regularly with families about progress and milestones.
