Only About Children in Melbourne is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to lead high-quality early learning and to implement the Grow Curriculum across the classroom. You will plan, document and assess children's progress, while partnering with families to support each child’s learning and wellbeing.

You will mentor colleagues, apply professional teaching judgement and contribute to campus-wide educational improvement. A strong EYLF/NQF background and VIT registration are essential.

Qualifications

• Approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification from a recognised university or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
• VIT Teacher registration is required.
• Minimum of three years' demonstrated experience in an early childhood setting.
• Strong working knowledge of the EYLF, NQF, child development and inclusive practice.
• Experience mentoring or training colleagues.
• Strong communication, documentation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-quality early learning program that supports children's confidence, wellbeing and development.
• Plan, document and evaluate learning using the assessment and planning cycle.
• Use professional teacher judgement to design curriculum informed by development frameworks and evidence of learning.
• Support school readiness through oral language, social-emotional skills and meaningful group learning.
• Mentor educators in intentional teaching, documentation, reflective practice and inclusive learning.
• Partner with families to support each child's learning, wellbeing, culture and individual needs.
• Contribute to quality improvement processes and campus-wide educational improvement.
