Job summary

Kids Early Learning Centre Dakabin is seeking a Diploma-qualified Lead Educator to join our team in Brisbane's northern suburbs. You will work across rooms with children aged six weeks to five years, supporting Reggio Emilia philosophy and contributing to a high-quality early learning environment.

The successful candidate will hold a Diploma in Children's Services (or be studying it) and demonstrate strong communication, organisation, and time management skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Diploma in Children's Services or be currently studying one.
• Demonstrates understanding of NQF, EYLF, and QKLG where applicable.
• Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for children in a collaborative team environment.
• Support different rooms and age groups as a float educator.
• Maintain professional presentation and centre standards.
• Engage with families and implement Reggio Emilia approaches.

Kids Early Learning Centre Dakabin is a Reggio Emilia inspired early learning centre located in the northern suburbs of Brisbane.We are looking fora Lead Educator and diploma qualified confident and experienced educators to join our existing team. Catering for children aged six weeks tofive years our facilities and philosophy are unrivalled inthe Early Childhood Educationindustry.

At Dakabin Kids ELC, we have a fantastic opportunity at our centre where you will receive ongoing support from an experienced management team including an onsite Centre Manager. This is of course coupled with ample Professional Development opportunities to ensure quality implementation of the Reggio Emilia approach.

The successful applicant for this role will:

• Possess a genuine desire and commitment for working with children
• Take pride in the presentation of the centre
• MUST hold a Diploma in Children's Services OR studying a Diploma in Children Services.
• Be willing to work as part of a team to provide high-quality care for children
• Express a genuine passion or interest in the Reggio Emilia philosophy
• Demonstrate excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
• Show a clear understanding of the NQF (National Quality Framework), EYLF (Early Years Learning Framework) and if applicable QKLG (Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines)
• Available for Open and closing shifts.
• Ability to work as a float educator and confidently support different rooms and age groups throughout the centre.
