Job summary

Perth Central Dental Centre in Perth CBD is seeking an experienced Lead Dentist to combine clinical dentistry with a leadership role. You will mentor clinicians, uphold clinical standards and contribute to practice growth while treating your own patients.

The role involves leading by example, collaborating with the Practice Manager and supporting a team of over 30 professionals in a modern, 5-chair setting opposite Perth Train Station.

Qualifications

• Holds current AHPRA registration.
• Strong clinical experience across general dentistry.
• Genuine interest in mentoring and developing other clinicians.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Job Description

Perth Central Dental Centre is looking for a Lead Dentist to join its established 5-chair practice in the heart of Perth, located directly opposite Perth Train Station. Working closely with the Practice Manager, you'll continue treating your own patients while mentoring and supporting other clinicians and contributing to clinical standards, team development and patient care.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality general, restorative and cosmetic dentistry
• Lead, mentor and support other clinicians
• Help maintain strong clinical standards and best-practice patient care
• Contribute to team development and practice growth
• Work closely with the Practice Manager on clinical and practice initiatives
• Help foster a positive and collaborative team culture

About You

• Holds current AHPRA registration
• Has strong clinical experience across general dentistry
• Has confidence across a broad range of clinical presentations
• Has a genuine interest in mentoring and developing other clinicians
• Has strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Takes a patient-focused approach to clinical care
• Can lead by example and contribute positively to the wider team

You may already have previous leadership experience, or you may be an experienced Dentist who is ready to take the next step into clinical leadership.
