Quantium is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to join the wiq team and drive analytical excellence. You will spearhead the development and implementation of data science and AI solutions for Woolworths, mentoring a small team and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

You will translate complex AI concepts into business value and stay ahead with Generative AI developments to improve deliverables and impact.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and Python proficiency for data querying and manipulation.
• Experience leading a small technical team (3–5 analysts).
• Proven stakeholder management across SMEs to executives.
• Ability to translate AI concepts into business value.
• Experience with Generative AI in analytics/consulting contexts.

Responsabilités

• Lead analytical delivery of data science projects for Woolworths through wiq, ensuring high-quality solutions.
• Mentor a technical team of 3–5 analysts and foster growth.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across organisational levels.
• Translate technical insights into accessible recommendations for non-technical audiences.
• Apply Generative AI applications to enhance productivity and outputs.
