Ippon Australia seeks a Lead Data Engineering Consultant to drive end‑to‑end data platform delivery, from discovery to delivery. You will lead teams, design robust architectures with Snowflake and cloud tools, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.

The role emphasizes hands‑on leadership, data modelling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and governance, with a focus on scalable, secure cloud data solutions and client value creation.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong hands-on experience and production use of Snowflake.
• Proven ability to design and deliver modern cloud-based data platforms and warehouses.
• Advanced data modelling, performance optimisation, security, and data sharing.
• Experience building and orchestrating ETL/ELT pipelines with Airflow/dbt.
• Consulting experience translating business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of scalable data platforms and data warehouse solutions.
• Design and implement robust data architectures using Snowflake, AWS, Azure and/or Databricks.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across projects and guide delivery teams.
• Build, optimise, and maintain data pipelines, models, and storage layers.
• Collaborate with data governance and reporting stakeholders to align with data strategy.
• Support pre‑sales activities with solution design, scoping and client proposals.
• Work with data scientists and analysts to deliver impactful solutions.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
• Present progress to both technical and non-technical audiences.
