The HR Ally is seeking a Lead Security Analyst - Cyber Threat Analyst in Australia, with a 12-month contract and potential extension. Location: ACT & SA.

The role requires risk-focused threat analysis, threat intelligence assessment, and development of response procedures to strengthen security posture. You will monitor security events, create playbooks, and collaborate with technical teams and security leadership to ensure resilient controls against evolving threats.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Security Analyst in a threat-focused role.
• Knowledge of information security policies and common frameworks.
• Ability to obtain Positive Vetting (TSPV) clearance.

Responsabilités

• Perform threat-driven security analysis of systems and environments.
• Monitor security events and investigate incidents promptly.
• Develop and test incident response plans and runbooks.
• Assess vulnerabilities and propose mitigations.
• Review and improve security controls and monitoring.
• Assist leadership with security incident coordination.
• Demonstrated experience with security tooling and platforms.
