Job summary

Reserve Bank of Australia in Sydney is seeking experienced Cyber Security Architects to shape the bank's security posture across identity modernisation, vulnerability management, AI governance and secure cloud adoption.

As an IT Cyber Security Architect, you will provide security architecture leadership across projects, embedding security through the lifecycle and partnering with business and technology stakeholders to deliver resilient solutions.

Qualifications

• Security architecture and risk assessment in medium to large enterprises.
• IAM including authentication, authorisation and privileged access management.
• Cloud security with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.

Responsibilities

• Work with project teams to translate business requirements into secure technology solutions.
• Lead development of security architectures, risk assessments and design artefacts.
• Partner with teams to develop secure and practical technology solutions.
• Provide security architecture guidance across identity, data, application, infrastructure, cloud and emerging tech domains.
• Promote secure-by-design practices and modern security controls adoption.
• Identify and communicate cyber security risks and controls to project teams and governance forums.
• Ensure solutions align with security standards and enterprise architecture principles.
• Contribute to cyber security standards, patterns and reference architectures.
• Support ongoing improvement of cyber security architecture practices and processes.
