Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong enterprise Cyber Security Engineering / Security Architecture experience.
• Hands-on Microsoft Entra ID / IAM experience.
• Security experience across Azure, AWS and Microsoft 365.
• Experience securing Azure DevOps / CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps.
• SharePoint Online security and records/EDRM experience.
• Knowledge of ISM, PSPF and Essential Eight.
• Cloud, low-code/RAD and AI security experience desirable.
• Federal Government experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Lead Cyber Security Advisor to support a major Federal Government digital transformation program. The role combines hands‑on security engineering, cloud security, identity and access management, DevSecOps and security assurance across Microsoft and Azure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement secure technology patterns across enterprise digital projects.
• Configure and validate security controls across Microsoft Entra ID, Azure, M365 and SharePoint Online.
• Implement identity, authentication, authorisation, Conditional Access and access governance controls.
• Secure Azure DevOps pipelines, including automated security scanning, security gates and code assurance.
• Support secure SharePoint Online records management, information protection and retention controls.
• Engineer security patterns for Azure AI, Azure AI Foundry and emerging technologies.
• Support security requirements for remote and regional infrastructure.
• Conduct security testing, remediation, deployment assurance and operational readiness.
• Implement and evidence controls aligned with ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight, privacy and data protection requirements.
• Produce clear security implementation, assurance and handover documentation.
