Job summary

Optus, a leading Australian telecommunications provider, seeks a Lead Specialist - Customer Data Platform to design, build and deploy Salesforce Data Cloud solutions. You’ll work with data engineers, platform owners and stakeholders to onboard, unify and activate trusted customer data across channels.

You will lead data modelling, ingestion, and identity resolution, and ensure data quality and governance in a complex enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, including data modelling, ingestion, and identity resolution.
• Strong SQL skills and Python or similar scripting language.
• Experience delivering data solutions in a complex enterprise environment.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to translate business requirements.
• Salesforce certifications and Agile delivery experience are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure DMOs, DSOs, and ingestion frameworks within Salesforce Data Cloud.
• Build and maintain identity resolution and unified customer profiles.
• Lead end-to-end customer data onboarding across development, testing, and production environments.
• Establish data quality controls and governance standards to ensure trusted data.
• Collaborate with data platform teams to ensure datasets meet Data Cloud requirements.
• Partner with activation and analytics teams to enable personalized customer engagement.
