Job summary

GenusPlus Group is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead contract strategy, risk management and commercial outcomes on major infrastructure projects across Australia. You will work with Project Managers and Commercial Teams to ensure contract compliance and deliver value.

The role requires a background in contracts, commercial management or business law, at least five years in a similar role within construction or utilities, strong negotiation and stakeholder skills, and knowledge of AS4000 and

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Contracts, Commercial Management, or Business Law.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial or contract management role, ideally within construction, engineering, utilities, infrastructure or resources industries.
• Strong contract negotiation, stakeholder management, risk management and analytical skills, with knowledge of AS4000 contracts and Australian legislation.

Responsibilities

• Providing contract management advice, commercial support and inform commercial strategy to project teams.
• Managing contractual risks, claims, variations, site instructions and progress claims.
• Reviewing and negotiating contract terms, tender submissions and commercial obligations.
• Leading, mentoring and developing contract administration personnel while driving strong commercial outcomes.
