Job summary

Emerald Corporation Pty Ltd in Burwood, Victoria, is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead projects from start to finish. You will manage site teams, supervise contractors, and coordinate resources to deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Applicants should hold a relevant construction degree, have at least 2 years post-qualification PM experience, and possess strong leadership, communication, and planning skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline (construction) required.
• Minimum 2 years' post-qualification construction PM experience.
• PMP designation highly regarded but not essential.
• Knowledge and experience in construction and/or civil contracting.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan, organise, direct and coordinate construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate project activities, contractors and resources.
• Analyse operational problems and present effective solutions.
• Liaise with project team members and subcontractors to achieve look ahead items.
• Consult with Architects, Engineers and other professionals.
• Develop project schedules, timelines, budgets and construction plans.
• Attend site inspections and maintain quality, safety and environment standards.
• Procure project materials and monitor time, cost, quality, budget and risk.
