Job summary

Wattle View Primary School invites applications for Range 2 classroom teachers who will support the school’s strategic priorities and student outcomes. The role focuses on building staff knowledge about high-quality instruction and continuous improvement through data-informed practice.

You will model exemplary teaching, mentor colleagues, and provide expert advice to shape professional learning across the school.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to meet diverse student needs and apply high quality instruction.
• Experience mentoring and coaching teachers to reflect on practice.
• Ability to use data to inform teaching and communicate progress to families.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals.
• Contribute to curriculum development and evaluation.
• Undertake other teaching and school duties as directed by the principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Supervise and mentor student teachers.
