Job summary

Roesner and Hamilton Civil Contractors in Nerang, QLD is seeking a reliable Leading Hand to support civil construction projects. You will lead site crews, read drawings, and ensure work meets safety and quality standards while coordinating multiple trades.

The role requires 5+ years of civil experience, strong leadership, and a commitment to getting the job done right the first time. A current MR Licence and White Card are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil construction experience, with leadership exposure.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead site crews and ensure work is safe, efficient, and on schedule.
• Oversee reinstatement of concrete footpaths, kerb and channel.
• Coordinate pit and conduit installations and footing work.
• Supervise light pole and traffic signal footing installs.
• Promote a strong on-site safety culture and quality workmanship.
• Monitor costs, productivity, and program performance.
• Liaise with clients, inspectors, and stakeholders.
