Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Civil Construction, Supervision (RII40720) is preferred.
• Extensive experience delivering civil construction and infrastructure projects.
• Experience supervising crews and subcontractors on major projects.
• Experience in Tier 1 or Tier 2 contracting environments is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methodologies and site operations.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and programs.
• Proven safety leadership and risk management understanding.
• Strong planning, coordination and practical problem solving.
• Clear communication with engineering and project teams.
• Experience across earthworks, roadworks, drainage, utilities, structures, pavements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily civil construction activities.
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, plant and resources.
• Plan upcoming works with engineering and project teams.
• Monitor construction productivity and progress.
• Ensure works meet drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Lead site safety and pre-start activities.
• Identify construction constraints and resolve issues early.
• Coordinate interfaces between different work fronts.
• Build a productive and accountable site culture.
