Job summary

HEH Civil is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to manage civil construction projects across Far North Queensland from our Cairns base. You will lead daily site activities, coordinate crews and subcontractors, manage plant and materials, and ensure safety, quality and program alignment.

The role requires hands-on leadership, organisation and strong communication to drive project success on civil works sites.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Supervisor in civil construction.
• Experience in bulk earthworks, roadworks, drainage, pipelaying or similar civil works.
• Experience with TMR, local government or Tier 1 clients will be highly regarded.
• Confidence coordinating crews, subcontractors, plant and materials.
• Strong understanding of WHS, quality and environmental requirements on civil construction sites.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships on site.
• A current driver licence and relevant construction industry tickets or licences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise site crews, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Plan daily works and coordinate labour, plant, materials and site access.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to keep projects on track for safety, quality, budget and program.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Identify and resolve site issues early, with a practical and solutions-focused approach.
• Promote safe work practices and maintain strong communication across the site team.
