Job summary

Ark Energy is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer to provide technical leadership across civil and infrastructure for battery energy storage, wind, solar and related projects. Based in Brisbane, you will manage external consultants, assure design quality and drive constructability and risk management from development through construction and handover.

You will lead teams, review deliverables, and contribute to feasibility, concept design and tender documentation while working within an outsourced

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar field.
7+ years of civil design experience across major infrastructure/renewable energy projects.
Experience leading civil design teams and guiding engineers.
Proven track record reviewing designs, coordinating external consultants and ensuring constructability.

Responsibilities

Provide civil engineering leadership across roads, foundations, drainage, earthworks, platforms and infrastructure.
Review deliverables from feasibility through handover for quality and compliance.
Coordinate external civil design consultants and provide technical oversight.
Review drawings, calculations, specs and reports for constructability and risk.
Lead Safety in Design activities and address identified risks.
Support feasibility studies, site assessments and project optioneering.
Define geotechnical investigation requirements and review reports.
