Ark Energy Corporation is seeking an Electrical Engineer based in Brisbane to develop and deliver electrical systems for utility-scale projects including BESS, solar and wind. You will work with the engineering team from early development through construction and commissioning, ensuring compliance with standards and seamless handover to operations.

Qualifications

• Must have tertiary electrical engg qualifications with relevant experience in power generation, transmission or renewable energy.
• Experience in grid connection, BESS, solar, wind, substations or EPC delivery is highly regarded.
• Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and produce clear engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering input across development, design and evaluation of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, BESS).
• Design/review MV/LV systems and substation layouts in line with standards.
• Develop and review electrical specs and tender documents.
• Support lifecycle scoping and optimization of electrical design.
• Oversee EPC outputs during construction and commissioning where required.
• Provide grid connection, transmission and distribution input as needed.
• Prepare designs with AutoCAD and finalize handover to O&M.
