The Lion Richlands is seeking an experienced cook to join our fast-paced kitchen, delivering high-quality meals with meticulous attention to detail. You will work with the kitchen team to prepare and present dishes, while upholding hygiene standards and timely service.

Successful applicants will have at least 2 years in a similar role, hold a Certificate III commercial cookery or equivalent, and demonstrate leadership capabilities to guide junior staff.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Certificate III Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
• Experience leading a kitchen team.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Ensuring the quality of all meals and food items from the preparation to the presentation stages.
• Ability to demonstrate proper techniques and provide guidance to others with preparing, cooking, freezing and preserving foods.
• Maintaining open lines of communication with Management, kitchen and wait staff for all food preparation, dietary, and specific requests.
• Working with the kitchen team to ensure that all hygiene regulations are adhered to and maintained.
