Job summary

Create Catering in regional Victoria is seeking a Chef de Cuisine to lead a new winery team near San Remo. You will have full autonomy on menu design, sourcing ingredients, and function planning, with a farm-to-table style and wood-fired techniques.

You’ll guide a high-volume kitchen, maintain top food safety, mentor staff, and drive seasonal house-made specialties for events and dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a high-volume kitchen or similar venue.
• Strong understanding of seasonal produce and fine dining cuisine.
• Proven leadership in food safety, people management and trends.
• Excellent attention to detail and teamwork.
• Experience with baking and produce harvesting / pickling / bottling.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and mentor staff.
• Passion for great food and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a hands-on kitchen team at a new winery.
• Design menus with autonomy over sourcing and function.
• Oversee food safety and maintain high standards.
