Sandstone Point Hotel in Sandstone Point, QLD, is currently hiring a Full-time Chef to lead the kitchen, oversee dish costing and procedure implementation, and assist with day-to-day management as well as dish development.

Qualificações

• 1+ year of relevant kitchen experience required.
• Candidate should have a passion for food and strong customer service.
• Ability to lead and work within a team.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food handling.
• Experience with dish costing and menu development is desirable.
• Commitment to consistent high-quality food preparation.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, cook and present dishes for service, or delegate to kitchen staff.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and food preparation workers.
• Inspect supplies, equipment's and work areas for cleanliness and functionality.
• Ordering and maintain inventory of food and supplies.
• Communicate with the managers and supervisors regarding issues relating to preparation and service in the restaurant.
• Ensure kitchen staff follows directives and be responsible and accountable for food service.
