Interspec Custom Joinery Pty Ltd – Cromer NSW is seeking a qualified Cabinet Maker to join a high-end residential joinery workshop. You will work hands-on across kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, bars and bespoke pieces, taking on challenging projects while guiding junior cabinet makers.

• Qualified Cabinet Maker with strong industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing high-end custom joinery from drawings through to completion.
• Taking ownership of detailed and more technically challenging work.
• Working with board products, veneers, laminates, solid timber and other specialty materials.
• Machining, assembling and finishing custom joinery to a high standard.

• Problem-solving and working through complex manufacturing details.
• Assisting with prototypes, one-off pieces and non-standard joinery.
• Helping organise and maintain an efficient workflow in the workshop.

You will be working hands-on across a wide range of high-end residential joinery, including kitchens, wardrobes, entertainment units, vanities, bars, detailed custom pieces and architectural joinery. This role would suit someone who is highly capable across all aspects of cabinet making and custom joinery and takes pride in producing quality work. You will take on the more challenging jobs in the workshop while also helping guide and develop the less experienced members of the team.

Key responsibilities

Manufacturing high-end custom joinery from drawings through to completion

Taking ownership of detailed and more technically challenging work

Working with board products, veneers, laminates, solid timber and other specialty materials

Machining, assembling and finishing custom joinery to a high standard

Reading and interpreting detailed shop drawings

Problem-solving and working through complex manufacturing details

Assisting with prototypes, one-off pieces and non-standard joinery

Helping organise and maintain an efficient workflow in the workshop

Checking quality and ensuring work is ready for installation

Teaching and guiding apprentices and less experienced cabinet makers

About you

Qualified Cabinet Maker with strong industry experience
