Job summary

Lux Modern & Classic Kitchens is a Sydney-based joinery specialist crafting high-quality custom kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, wardrobes and offices. We’re growing and seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker / Joiner to join our factory team in Sydney.

Based in our Silverwater workshop, you’ll manufacture and assemble premium joinery from shop drawings to finished product, reading detailed drawings, operating workshop machinery, and ensuring quality before delivery.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years' experience as a Cabinet Maker.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret shop drawings.
• Have your own hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full Australian work rights — no sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

$40 – $44 per hour (based on experience)

Around 90% of our work is premium bespoke joinery, demanding exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering work of the highest standard.

The Role

Based in our Sydney workshop, you'll manufacture and assemble high-quality custom joinery from shop drawings through to finished product. Day to day, you will:

• Manufacture and assemble bespoke cabinetry and joinery to a premium standard
• Read and work accurately from detailed shop drawings
• Operate workshop machinery and use your own hand tools
• Check your own work for quality and finish before it leaves the bench
• Work alongside a tight-knit team that takes pride in what it builds

This role suits a tradesperson who genuinely enjoys the craft and wants their work to be the best in the room.

What You’ll Bring
