Job summary

Impact Kitchens – Warners Bay NSW is seeking a Senior Cabinetmaker to join our established workshop. You will construct high-quality custom cabinetry from client specs, interpret drawings, and collaborate with installation staff to meet deadlines.

You’ll lead by example with strong finishing, hardware installation, and attention to detail, while maintaining a clean, safe workshop and contributing to continuous improvement in our quality-focused team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a cabinetmaker, preferably in custom, architectural, or high-end joinery.
• Certificate III in Cabinet Making or equivalent.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, plans and specifications.
• Proven expertise in cabinet construction, assembly, hardware installation, and finishing.
• Competence using common woodworking machinery, hand tools, and measuring equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control.
• Ability to work independently, take responsibility for your work, and collaborate with others.
• White Card and WHS training or willingness to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the installation team to support a seamless handover from workshop to site.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements.
• Share knowledge and contribute to team standards and continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing

Constructing high-quality custom cabinetry from client specifications and technical drawings.

Essential qualifications and experience

Demonstrated experience as a cabinetmaker, preferably in custom, architectural, or high-end joinery.

Relevant trade qualification, such as a Certificate III in Cabinet Making, or equivalent industry experience.

Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.

Proven expertise in cabinet construction, assembly, hardware installation, and finishing.

Competence using common woodworking machinery, hand tools, and measuring equipment.

Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control.

Ability to work independently, take responsibility for your work, and collaborate effectively with others.

Proven ability to meet production deadlines without compromising workmanship.

White Card and relevant workplace health and safety training, or willingness to obtain them.
