Job summary

Lead Group is seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker/Joinery Installer for work across our Northern Beaches and Sydney CBD sites. This hands-on role emphasizes quality, with busy days where your craftsmanship is put to practical use, from factory fabrication to on-site installation.

You will read drawings, fabricate in the workshop, install hardware, and finish components, with a strong focus on fit, finish and safety. Apprentices up to 3rd year are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified with Certificate III in Cabinet Making.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the trade.
• Able to read plans and work independently.
• Confident using a range of workshop machinery.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality cabinetry from drawings and plans.
• Workshop fabrication and assembly.
• On-site installation when required.
• Install hardware and finishing components.
• Sand, finish and ensure craftsmanship.
• Maintain safe, organised workspace.

Cabinet Maker/Installer - Northern Beaches/Sydney CBD

We’re looking for a skilled Cabinet Maker / Joinery Installer to join our team, working across both factory and on-site installation work.

This is a hands‑on role where quality matters, the days are busy, and your skills will actually be used—not wasted.

What you’ll be doing

• Working from drawings and design plans to produce quality cabinetry
• Workshop fabrication and assembly work
• On‑site installation when required
• Installing hardware and finishing components with accuracy
• Sanding, finishing, and ensuring high‑standard craftsmanship
• Working safely and keeping a clean, organised workspace

What we’re looking for

• Trade qualified Certificate III in Cabinet Making
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the trade
• Confident using a range of workshop machinery
• Able to read plans and work independently
• Strong attention to detail—fit and finish matters
• Reliable, steady worker who takes pride in their output

Nice to have (not essential)

• Site installation experience
• Exposure to custom joinery or architectural work
