Job summary

Clicks IT Recruitment seeks an experienced Business Architect to shape business capabilities, operating models and transformation initiatives for a major technology project. The role focuses on replacing end-of-life technology with a modern, scalable platform supporting frontline operations and customers.

You will provide strategic leadership across complex initiatives, ensuring alignment of business outcomes with future-state operating models and organisational strategy.

• Ensure artefacts are produced by deadlines across program and project timeframes.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships including executives and project teams.

Business Architect

We are seeking an experienced Business Architect to join a high-performing team and play a key role in shaping business capabilities, operating models, processes and transformation initiatives for a major technology transformation project. The project focuses on replacing end-of-life technology with a modern, scalable and secure platform that supports frontline operations and customers, while enabling future enhancements, improved service delivery and long-term business capability.

As a Business Architect, you will provide strategic leadership across complex transformation initiatives, ensuring business outcomes, organisational strategy and future-state operating models are clearly defined and aligned.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing technology and system architecture artefacts (solution designs / blueprints).
• Providing architectural services across a highly complex environment.
• Lead business process improvement and enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Providing guidance through the Architectural Governance process in concert with the Lead Domain Architect.
• Ensuring that project architecture artefacts are produced by the required deadlines set by program, project and/or release timeframes.
• Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships (including Executives, business representatives, project managers, solution architects).

Skills and Experience required

You will be an experienced Business Architect with a strong background inenterprise transformation, business modelling, process improvement and strategic planning.

• Strong experience inbusiness architecture and enterprise architecture.
• Advanced business modelling and process modelling capabilities.
• Proven experience leadingbusiness process improvement and transformation.
• Strong understanding of information security considerations within business and technology change.

• Data modelling and data architecture. Establishing, modifying and maintaining data structures and associated components.
• Emerging technology assessment and technology roadmapping.
