Job summary

Libran IT is seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst to join a major technology transformation portfolio in a critical infrastructure and utilities environment in Sydney. This senior, hands-on role defines complex business problems, translates needs into clear requirements, and oversees design through UAT and go-live.

Deep hands-on Salesforce expertise is essential, but the role encompasses Salesforce and broader platforms (SharePoint, CMS, integrations).

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience as a dedicated Business Analyst.
• Ideally 3+ years' experience within utilities, critical infrastructure, government or another highly regulated environment.
• Deep, hands-on Salesforce functional knowledge with ability to define platform capabilities.
• Strong experience defining functional requirements across multiple enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead problem definition and requirements analysis across complex technology initiatives.
• Develop Solution Design Briefs covering problem statements, constraints, scope and options.
• Translate business needs into detailed, testable functional requirements and Given/When/Then acceptance criteria.
• Establish requirements prioritisation using MoSCoW and maintain traceability.
• Maintain RTMs from initial requirements through design, testing and implementation.
• Provide hands-on functional analysis across Salesforce, including object models and Flows.
• Define platform-agnostic requirements for non-Salesforce solutions like SharePoint and CMS.
• Define integration and data requirements including mappings and data lineage.
• Develop evidence-based business cases and support benefits realisation post-implementation.
• Lead UAT governance and provide go/no-go recommendations.
• Review AS-IS/TO-BE processes and translate to functional requirements.
