Job summary

Indigenous Business Growth in Maroochydore is seeking a BIM Coordinator to manage BIM and CDE workflows across a major transport infrastructure project in South East Queensland. You will keep models current, correctly classified and ready for design through handover, collaborating with design managers, engineers and site teams.

The role emphasizes model exchange administration, federation, naming and revision controls, plus clash/coordination reviews.

Qualifications

4+ years BIM coordination on complex infrastructure or building projects.
Proficiency with Revit and Navisworks; solid understanding of ISO 19650.
Experience federating models and conducting clash detection.
Ability to communicate model/information requirements clearly to design and site teams.
Strong attention to detail and process discipline.

Responsibilities

Administer model exchange, federation, naming, status, revision workflows per BIM execution plan.
Manage common data environment structure, permissions and information containers.
Run multidisciplinary clash and coordination reviews and maintain issue registers through closure.
Check model geometry and attributes for construction planning, quantities and handover.
Support site teams with model-based review, visualization and field access.
Coordinate as-built model updates and asset-information deliverables.
Report on model quality, compliance and coordination progress to project leadership.
