Job summary

DBI Design is seeking a BIM Co-Ordinator/Manager to join our design team on high-rise, multi-residential and commercial projects. The role reports to the Managing Director, coordinating BIM models with staff across all design disciplines and leading BIM systems development.

The successful candidate will bring 7+ years in BIM coordination, strong Revit skills and construction industry experience, with knowledge of Revizto/Navisworks and Dynamo advantageous.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in BIM coordination on medium to large mixed-use projects.
• Strong experience with Autodesk Revit.
• Experience in a construction environment.
• Knowledge of Revizto and Navisworks for BIM coordination.
• Bonus: Dynamo or similar scripting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and review BIM models with staff across design disciplines.
• Develop and document BIM systems and consolidate workflows.
• Drive continuous improvement of BIM processes.
• Provide technical mentoring and support to the team.

Job description

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated BIM Co-Ordinator / Manager to join our energetic and progressive design team working on a wide range of outstanding high-rise, multi residential and commercial projects.

The position reports directly to our Managing Director, with broader responsibilities co-ordinating and reviewing BIM models with staff across the full suite of design disciplines.

The position can be Gold Coast or Brisbane based, travel between the two offices will be required.

Primary responsibilities will include, but not be restricted to:

• Bringing together, developing and documenting our current systems in a consolidated approach.
• Working with our current core Revit/BIM User Group.
• Developing and maintaining Revit/BIM systems across Architecture, Interior Design and Landscape Architecture disciplines.
• Reviewing project BIM models for compliance with the developed DBI systems.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge in BIM Management.
• Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues in Revit models.
• Drive continuous improvement across BIM processes.
• Provide technical mentoring and support.

The successful candidate will have knowledge and skills in:

• 7+ years' experience in BIM coordination, modelling or drafting in medium to large mixed-use architectural projects.
• Strong experience with Autodesk Revit.
• Experience working within a construction environment.
• Strong understanding of 3D modelling and BIM coordination, including Revizto and Navisworks.
• Advantage if there is experience or knowledge in Dynamo or similar.
