Job summary

IIMBE Pty Ltd in Sydney seeks a BIM/DE specialist to develop client BIM strategies and AIR/EIR aligned with ISO 19650 and ISO 55000. You will coordinate 3D/4D/5D models across civil, structural and MEP packages while ensuring data integrity and compliance with Australian standards.

Responsibilities include leading engagement strategies, chairing coordination meetings with consultants, and supporting project submissions and innovation in Digital Delivery.

• Bachelor degree or higher in Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience in digital engineering / BIM delivery within engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Foundational understanding of ISO19650, development of BEP/DEXP and experience in Design, construction, and Handover stages of Projects.
• Ability to work flexibly at home and in an open-plan work environment with high levels of pressure from time-to-time.

Responsibilities

• Develop clients' BIM/DE strategies and Organisation/Asset Information Requirements.
• Define, implement and drive change for clients through engagement strategies.
• Chair BIM/Design Coordination meetings with external consultants and contractors.
• Support submissions, presentations and work winning activities.
• Maintain professional working relationships with Project team members (Internal & External).
• Actively participate in innovation (R&D) for Digital Delivery stream.
• Develop and apply engineering digital workflows, engineering data specifications, and AIR/EIR compliant with ISO 19650 and ISO 55000.
• Coordinate 3D/4D/5D multidisciplinary engineering models, identify spatial/design clashes, and verify engineering data integrity across civil, structural, and MEP packages.
• Review technical designs and ensuring engineering drawings and models adhere to Australian Standards, client technical requirements, and project engineering specifications.
• Perform engineering analysis, data integration, and systems verification using engineering software (e.g., Civil3D, 12D, Navisworks, Tekla)
