CHC Helicopter is seeking a Senior Base Engineer for our Nowra base on the NSW South Coast. You will lead the engineering team to maintain aircraft availability and airworthiness, while mentoring engineers and ensuring compliance with CASA and Part 145 standards.

This role offers the chance to influence engineering performance, engage with stakeholders, and contribute to CHC's Australian operations in a safety‑critical environment.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in aircraft maintenance, overhaul, and repair.
• Strong safety and compliance mindset.
• Ability to coach, manage and lead a team.

Aufgaben

• Lead engineering activities to ensure aircraft availability and operational readiness.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering personnel.
• Ensure compliance with CASA regulations, company procedures and Part 145 requirements.
• Support safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with operational, maintenance and customer stakeholders.
• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration and engineering excellence.
