Hammondcare Volunteers is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to own Australian payroll on a 12-month contract. The role handles fortnightly payroll, maintains records, and ensures compliance with legislation and EBA.

Qualifications

• End-to-end fortnightly payroll processing is required.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and databases.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and EBA.
• Process new hires, transfers and terminations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate end-to-end processing of fortnightly payrolls.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, systems, and databases.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and MHCG Policies, and Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA).
• Provide high level of customer service when addressing employee payroll queries.
• Processing new hires, transfers and terminations
• Assist with maintenance of the payroll system.
• Prepare and process termination payments, workers' compensation payments.
• Prepare and process fortnightly and monthly reports.
• Perform ad hoc payroll tasks and respond to related queries
