Job summary

Intertek SAI Global is seeking an Accredited Lead Auditor to join our full-time team in Sydney. The role involves external audits against ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and related standards, with responsibilities across audit planning, reporting and client liaison.

You will conduct third-party audits, manage audit plans, and travel as required, ensuring rigorous technical integrity and timely delivery to meet accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year College or University or equivalent education.
• Extensive full-time experience in Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
• Experience conducting third-party audits.
• Experience across broad ranges of industries like Construction, manufacturing, Engineering, Health Services.
• Ability to write reports effectively, present information and respond to questions from clients.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to work effectively in audit teams and manage audits with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Interface directly with clients to ensure compliance with international standards.
• Work on complex third-party audits requiring considerable judgment.
• Develop audit plans and coordinate audit dates with clients and SAI operations.
• Complete audit reports and conduct follow-up activities when required.
• Interface with SAI Senior Auditors, Client Relation Managers and Operations.
• Contribute to the development and achievement of SAI Global Assurance Services’ strategic vision.
• Travel as required.
