Job summary

MPAU Manufacturing in NSW is seeking an ASP3 Design Engineer to lead complex electrical design projects across major transport, utilities and development programs. Take ownership from concept through construction and coordinate with authorities and multidisciplinary teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, ensure design compliance with Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy and Essential Energy standards, and drive client relationships and project delivery across landmark infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive ASP3 design experience within the NSW market.
• Strong knowledge of Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy and Essential Energy standards.
• Proven capability delivering complex infrastructure and utility projects.
• Strong understanding of approvals, compliance and utility coordination.
• Experience managing client relationships and project stakeholders.
• Ability to mentor engineers and review technical deliverables.
• Commercial awareness and project delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex ASP3 electrical design projects.
• Design underground and overhead reticulation networks.
• Deliver contestable works, utility relocations and infrastructure upgrades.
• Manage technical reviews and design compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with utility authorities, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support project delivery from concept design through to construction.
• Develop utility coordination and relocation strategies for major projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical team capability.
