Job summary

NSW Department of Education in Eveleigh NSW seeks a Lead Application Analyst to design, develop, troubleshoot and evolve software applications for websites and single-page apps, contributing to the department's design system and engineering practices.

You will lead ICT support, advise on initiatives and upgrades, and coordinate integration across ICT teams with a focus on reliability, security and performance for public education services.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or related field required.
• Current Working with Children Check Clearance for paid employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and troubleshooting of software applications for websites and SPAs.
• Advise stakeholders on new initiatives and technology upgrades to improve efficiency.
• Oversee application and system integration, testing and deployment with ICT teams.
• Support resource, capacity, security and disaster recovery planning.
• Provide technical documentation and performance reporting; manage third-party vendors.
