Job summary

Insight Timer, the world’s largest meditation and wellness community, seeks a Senior or Lead Analytics Engineer to turn questions into experiments, data models, and insights that help millions live better. You’ll build scalable data systems, mentor others, and raise the bar for self-serve analytics across the company.

You’ll work with product, engineering and leadership, owning end-to-end analytics from ingestion to insight, with a product-minded focus on lifetime value and retention.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL on a modern cloud warehouse; ability to model data and interpret experiments.
• Experience with large, event-based datasets with varied schemas.
• Track record of analysing and interpreting A/B tests and translating insights into product decisions.

Responsibilities

• A/B test analysis: interpret experiments and provide recommendations to product team.
• Analytics delivery: turn questions into clear, actionable answers and prioritise requests.
• Data ingestion, modelling and metrics: own data pipelines, models and trusted metrics.
• Self-serve and agentic analytics: build tooling and semantic layers for company-wide self-serve analytics.
• Product and revenue analysis: analyse behavioural and financial data to understand user lifecycle and conversion.
• Mentoring and leadership: guide and develop the analytics engineers; provide technical direction.
• Communication: explain data clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
