Job summary

Clayton Utz is seeking a Lawyer to join the Sydney Commercial Litigation team in a full‑time capacity. You will work with leading partners and handling major complex commercial litigation and regulatory matters for Australian and international clients.

You will engage in briefing and liaising with counsel, drafting advice, and preparing witness and expert evidence, while contributing to internal enquiries and regulatory investigations.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years post-qualification experience as a Lawyer.
• Strong commercial litigation and/or regulatory experience with a reputable disputes practice.
• Strong academic achievements.

Responsibilities

• Expose to major complex commercial litigation including high-profile disputes and regulatory investigations.
• Brief and liaise with counsel, draft correspondence and prepare advices.
• Prepare witness and expert evidence and assist with final and interlocutory proceedings.
• Assist with internal enquiries and response to regulatory investigations.
• Work as part of a commercial, collaborative and dynamic team to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
