Job summary

Our Lady Of Consolation Aged Care & Services in Sydney’s Western Suburbs is seeking a Laundry Supervisor for a 9-month parental leave contract. You will coordinate daily operations, ensuring linen and residents’ clothing are processed, labelled and distributed accurately and timely while supervising staff.

Strong focus on infection-control, HACCP standards, and safe handling of laundry equipment. You will contribute to a safe, clean environment and support management with deliveries and workload

Qualifications

• Experience supervising laundry staff and coordinating daily operations.
• Knowledge of infection control practices and HACCP standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to changing tasks across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily laundry operations to run efficiently and safely.
• Ensure linen and residents' clothing are processed, labelled, sorted, packed and distributed accurately and timely.
• Supervise staff, allocate tasks, monitor workflow and maintain quality.
• Maintain infection-control standards and handle equipment safely.
• Complete administrative paperwork and coordinate deliveries.
• Assist staff with physical laundry duties when required and communicate with management about orders and workload.
