Job summary

Australian Unity Limited is seeking a Casual Laundry Assistant for our Residential Communities in Northmead, NSW. You will provide laundry services for residents and facility needs, while building strong relationships within the team and with families to support resident wellbeing.

Join a flexible roster and contribute to the Better Together ageing model. Experience in laundry is valued; vaccinations are preferred to keep residents safe.

Qualifications

• Customer-centric approach with a caring mindset.
• Ability to read and write English to communicate with residents and family.
• COVID-19 and influenza vaccination as a setup requirement (as per job expectations).

Responsibilities

• Provide laundry services for residents and facility needs.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with team, residents and families.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines to protect residents and staff.
• Deliver meaningful experiences that support resident wellbeing.
• Work Monday and Friday 7:00 AM–3:00 PM.
• Location at 3 Centenary Avenue Northmead NSW.

Your New Role as Casual assistant.

As aLaundry Assistantyou will provide care and support that enhances our resident's wellbeing, enabling them to live with dignity and empowerment.

You will enjoy working within ourBetter Together social model of ageing well, which offers a continuum of care and support services for our Residents, within a range of accommodation options in one location.

• Providinga range of laundry services for both resident’s personal laundry as well as laundry for the Aged Care Facility
• Building and maintaining strong relationships within our team, with our customers and family members.
• Adheringto health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our residents safe
• Providingmeaningful experiences which enable our residents to thrive
• The hours are Monday & Friday 7.00AM to 3.00PM
• Location is 3 Centenary Avenue Northmead NSW
