Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking casual Laundry Staff to join our Glendenning laundry team, delivering high-quality laundry services in a supportive environment. You will ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently, contributing to the comfort and wellbeing of residents in our retirement living community.

As part of a professional laundry team, you will maintain a clean, organized workspace, support colleagues, and adhere to safety practices while delivering consistent, high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work in a production, manufacturing, laundry, or similar operational environment.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Complete all laundry duties in a safe, efficient and effective manner.

Glendenning Laundry Services is currently looking for reliable, hardworking and genuinely passionate Laundry Staff (Casual) to join our dedicated team.

Your opportunity

As part of our professional laundry team, you’ll ensure all laundry duties are completed safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard. Your work will directly support the comfort and wellbeing of the people Anglicare cares for.

You will contribute to a positive team culture by working collaboratively, stepping in to assist others, and maintaining a clean, safe and productive workspace.

With integrity and resilience, you will:

• Complete all laundry duties in a safe, efficient and effective manner
• Work cooperatively with team members and assist others when your own tasks are complete
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
• Follow all safe work practices and contribute to Anglicare's strong safety culture

What you'll bring

What's required:

• Demonstrated ability to work in a production, manufacturing, laundry, or similar operational environment
• Commitment to workplace health and safety practices.

What's preferred:

• Certificate II in Laundry Operations (preferred)
• A customer-focused approach with the ability to build rapport with others.
• Ability to work quickly, maintain productivity and multitask
• Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
