Job summary

Bolton Clarke is seeking a Laundry Assistant to join a dedicated team at our Sydney location. Daily duties include laundering, ironing, folding and distribution of residents’ garments, with emphasis on quality and care in a supportive environment.

The role requires friendly interaction with residents and families, strong teamwork, and compliance with Australian working rights. National Police Check/NDIS Worker Check may be required prior to commencement.

Qualifications

• Experience in laundries or cleaning, preferably in aged care or hospitality.
• Friendly, positive outlook and ability to work in a team.
• Able to communicate effectively with residents, families and co-workers.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Willing to obtain National Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Check.

Responsibilities

• Laundering, pressing/ironing and folding items such as linen towels and residents’ garments.
• Cleaning/kitchen cloths, mops and garments.
• Using washing, drying, extracting, pressing, folding or other industrial machines/equipment.
• Collection and distribution of personal effects mistakenly sent to the laundry.
