Job summary

Bolton Clarke is seeking a Team Leader Housekeeping in the Southern Suburbs & Sutherland Shire of Sydney to oversee housekeeping and laundry services part-time. You will ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality environments for residents and staff.

Reports focus on team leadership, budget awareness, and continuous improvement while maintaining strong resident relationships and a safety-first culture in a not-for-profit aged care setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading housekeeping/hotel services in a commercial setting.
• Strong organisational and people management skills.
• Excellent communication with residents, families and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and safety.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.
• Willingness to obtain National Police Check or NDIS Worker Check.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support daily housekeeping and laundry activities.
• Ensure cleaning and laundry meet compliance, quality, and accreditation requirements.
• Manage budgets including labour, cleaning, and laundry costs, ensuring budget targets and rostered hours are achieved.
• Oversee ordering, delivery, inventory control, and storage of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Build positive relationships with residents and resident committees, responding to feedback and resolving concerns promptly and professionally.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational processes, efficiency, and service delivery.
• Promote and lead compliance with Bolton Clarke's OHS&E policies and objectives.
• Monitor performance and maintain high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and presentation across the site.
