Job summary

Mercy Health in Colac is seeking a casual laundry assistant at Mercy Place Colac, 83-99 Queen St. You will sort, wash, dry and fold laundry items, operate washing machines and dryers, and maintain a clean, well-organised laundry area.

Experience in housekeeping and laundry functions, with aged care experience desirable, will help you deliver resident-centred care. Police/NDIS clearance checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing housekeeping and laundry functions.
• Experience working within Aged Care desirable.
• Police Record Check or NDIS clearance Check.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry and fold laundry items according to organisation standards.
• Operate washing machines, dryers and other laundry equipment.
• Inspect laundry for stains, damage, or wear and report any issues.
