Job summary

Mercy Aged and Community Care Ltd in Colac, VIC, is seeking casual cleaners to help maintain clean, welcoming spaces for residents, families, and staff at Mercy Place Colac. About the opportunity:

We’re seeking casual cleaners to join our team and help create safe, welcoming spaces where patients, families, and staff feel valued every day.

You’ll play a critical role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facilities.

Your responsibilities include ensuring a safe and sanitary environment, adhering to infection control protocols, and supporting the overall comfort and well‑being of residents, and employees. Performing a variety of cleaning tasks in resident's rooms, common areas, and administrative spaces.

You’re reliable, resilient and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are genuinely interested in supporting others and making a difference in your community.

Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles

Ability to work independently, a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards

A sense of compassion & empathy towards elderly residents

Experience working in Aged Care or Health environment (desirable but not essential)
