Job summary

Mercy Aged and Community Care Ltd in Colac, VIC, is seeking casual cleaners to help maintain clean, welcoming spaces for residents, families, and staff at Mercy Place Colac. • Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles.
• Ability to work independently and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Compassion and empathy towards elderly residents.
• Experience in Aged Care or Health environment is desirable but not essential.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within Mercy Place Colac facilities.

About the opportunity:

We’re seeking casual cleaners to join our team and help create safe, welcoming spaces where patients, families, and staff feel valued every day.

You’ll play a critical role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facilities.

Your responsibilities include ensuring a safe and sanitary environment, adhering to infection control protocols, and supporting the overall comfort and well‑being of residents, and employees. Performing a variety of cleaning tasks in resident's rooms, common areas, and administrative spaces.

Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles

Ability to work independently, a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
